Vital Signs® 2022 Data
In partnership with the Probe Research Inc. and Canadian Centre for Policy Alternatives – Manitoba Office (CCPA – MB), local data and knowledge was gathered for Vital Signs® 2022.
Probe conducted the scientific survey of 1,200 Winnipeggers using an online panel of respondents supplemented by targeted outreach into diverse communities to ensure the survey was representative of Winnipeg’s population and CCPA – MB provided data support to ensure the indicators were relevant, accurate and comprehensive.
The Technical Report compiles all the information that was collected, including statistics, sources, survey questions, and survey data.
In 2016, The Winnipeg Foundation embarked on Vital Signs® 2017, a yearlong process of gathering data and engaging with community to understand local priorities. The report identified four key areas of importance: Reconciliation, Wellbeing, Belonging, and Lines that Divide. These findings were central in developing Walking Together: The Winnipeg Foundation’s 2019-2021 Strategic Plan.
